Abdullah bin Saraqah says that we were on a journey, and with us was Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). I asked him, and he said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he would not pray any (Sunnah) prayers before or after the obligatory prayers while traveling. I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the sale of fruits, and he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits before the end of «عاهه». I asked him about the meaning of «عاهه», and he said: The rising of the Thurayya star (which is a sign that no calamity will befall the fruit after this). Ibn Sireen says that Khurasan is not a city of wise people; if there are any, then only in the city of "Marw."
