Hadith 5005

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any person comes for Jumu'ah, he should come after performing ghusl (ritual bath)."
