Hadith 4986

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " مَا أَتَيْتُ عَلَى الرُّكْنِ مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُهُ ، فِي شِدَّةٍ وَلَا رَخَاءٍ ، إِلَّا مَسَحْتُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) touching the Black Stone, so I will continue to touch it regardless of any hardship or ease.
