Hadith 4967

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ يُخْبِرُ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " فَصَلَّى بِلاَ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ ، قال : ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، فَصَلَّى بِلاَ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ عُمَرَ ، فَصَلَّى بِلاَ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ ، ثُمَّ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ ، فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah. Then I was present with Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) on the occasion of Eid; he led the prayer without Adhan or Iqamah.
