(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْكِلابِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَفَ عَلَى قَلِيبِ بَدْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا ؟ " ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " إِنَّهُمْ لَيَسْمَعُونَ مَا أَقُولُ " ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِعَائِشَةَ ، فَقَالَتْ : وَهِلَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّهُمْ الآنَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَقُولُ لَهُمْ لَهُوَ الْحَقُّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and stood by the well on the day of the Battle of Badr, in which the bodies of the chiefs of Quraysh were thrown, and he began to call them by name, saying: "Did you find the promise of your Lord to be true?" By Allah! At this moment, these people are hearing my words. Yahya says that when Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) learned of this hadith, she said: "May Allah forgive Abu Abdur Rahman, he has made a mistake. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had said: 'Now it has been confirmed that what I used to say to them was true.'"
