Hadith 4956

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّانُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers on his mount, facing whichever direction it turned.
