Hadith 4949

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا دُعِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى وَلِيمَةٍ ، فَلْيُجِبْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any of you is invited to a wedding feast, he should accept that invitation."
