Hadith 4941

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ صَنْعَاءَ ، وَكَانَ أَعْلَمَ بِالْحَلالِ الْحَرَامِ مِنْ وَهْبٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلْيَقْرَأْ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wants to see the scene of the Day of Resurrection with his own eyes should recite Surah Takweer."
