Hadith 4937

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي نَافِعٌ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " يُقْتَلُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ خَمْسٌ ، لاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ : الْغُرَابُ ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: There are five kinds of animals for whose killing there is no sin: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog.
