Hadith 4934

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ الْقَاصُّ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الصَّنْعَانِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَت وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ : وَ سُورَةَ هُودٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wants to see the scene of the Day of Resurrection with his own eyes should recite Surah Takweer, Surah Infitar, and Surah Inshiqaq." He also probably mentioned Surah Hud.
