Hadith 4876

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ حدثاه عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ الْغُرَابُ ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: There are five kinds of animals for which there is no sin in killing them: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog.
