Hadith 4830

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ ، وَكُلُّ خَمْرٍ حَرَامٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicating thing is wine, and every wine is forbidden."
