Hadith 4816

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخَيْلُ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness and blessing have been placed in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
