Hadith 4726

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ يَقُولُ : " رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الْغَفُورُ " مِئَةَ مَرَّةٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that we used to count in a gathering that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say this phrase «رب اغفرلي وتب على انك انت التواب الغفور» one hundred times.
