Hadith 4724

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ ، وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the woman who joins hair and the one who asks for hair to be joined, the woman who tattoos and the one who asks to be tattooed.
