Hadith 4720

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنَّهُ " نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys on the day of the Battle of Khaybar.
