Sulaiman, the freed slave of Maymunah, says: Once I came to Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) while he was among the bushes of the trees and people were praying in the mosque. I asked him, "Why are you not praying with the people?" He replied, "I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Do not perform the same prayer twice in one day."
