Hadith 4687

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا أَحَدُكُمْ قَالَ لِأَخِيهِ : يَا كَافِرُ ، فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا أَحَدُهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you calls his brother 'O disbeliever,' then surely one of them returns as a disbeliever."
