Hadith 4679

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَائِمًا عِنْدَ بَابِ عَائِشَةَ ، فَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ ، فَقَالَ : " الْفِتْنَةُ هَاهُنَا ، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing at the door of the chamber of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand towards the east and said: "The trial will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan will appear."
