Hadith 4670

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَّلَاةُ فِي الْجَمِيعِ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ سَبْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The superiority of prayer in congregation over prayer performed alone is twenty-seven degrees."
