Hadith 4658

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَال : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ مَقْعَدُهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ ، إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ، يُقَالُ : هَذَا مَقْعَدُكَ حَتَّى تُبْعَثَ إِلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every person is shown his place morning and evening; if he is among the people of Paradise, then his place among the people of Paradise is shown to him, and if he is among the people of Hell, then his place among the people of Hell is shown to him, and it is said: 'This is your place until you are resurrected.'"
