Hadith 4654

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ ، وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Trim the moustaches thoroughly and let the beard grow abundantly."
