Hadith 464

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ خَالِدًا ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ الْعنبري ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ : عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies in such a state that he is certain that there is no deity except Allah, he will enter Paradise."
