Hadith 4626

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), despite the large number of the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), when we used to rank them, we would count them as follows: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them). Upon reaching this point, we would remain silent.
