Hadith 4625

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ دَخَلَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا ، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter Makkah Mukarramah, he would enter from "Thaniyyah 'Ulya" and when he would leave, he would leave from "Thaniyyah Sufla."
