Hadith 4621

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ مُتَعَمِّدًا حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deliberately misses the Asr prayer until the sun sets, it is as if his family and wealth have been destroyed."
