Hadith 4620

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ " يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ، وَيُوتِرُ عَلَيْهَا ، وَيَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to offer voluntary prayers and Witr on his mount, and he attributed this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
