Hadith 4596

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ " أَتَى قُدَيْدًا ، وَاشْتَرَى هَدْيَهُ ، فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ، وَقَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَنَعَ هَكَذَا " .
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reached the place of "Qudayd" and bought a sacrificial animal. Upon reaching the Sacred Sanctuary, he performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and said that he had seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doing likewise.
