It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held a horse race. Among them, the horses that were lean were made to compete from "Hafya" to Thaniyyat al-Wada', and those that were not lean-bodied had their race from Thaniyyat al-Wada' to the mosque of Banu Zuraiq.
