Hadith 4582

(حديث مرفوع) قَرِأَ عَلَيَّ سُفْيَانُ ، سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling the unborn offspring of a pregnant animal that is still in its mother's womb.
