Hadith 4579

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى نَجْدٍ ، فَبَلَغَتْ سِهَامُهُمْ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ بَعِيرًا ، وَنَفَّلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعِيرًا بَعِيرًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched a detachment towards Najd. Their share became twelve camels each, and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also gave us one camel each as a reward.
