Hadith 457

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ مَنَّاحٍ ، قَالَ : رَأَى أَبَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ جَنَازَةً ، فَقَامَ لَهَا ، وَقَالَ : " رَأَى عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ جَنَازَةً فَقَامَ لَهَا ، ثُمَّ حَدَّثَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى جَنَازَةً ، فَقَامَ لَهَا " .
Aban bin Uthman (may Allah have mercy on him) saw a funeral and stood up, and said that once Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a funeral and he also stood up, and he said that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a funeral and he also stood up.
