Hadith 4562

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ ؟ فَقَالَ : " لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the lizard. He (peace be upon him) said: "I neither eat it nor do I declare it unlawful."
