It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of Muzabanah. Muzabanah means selling dates that are still on the trees in exchange for harvested dates, or selling grapes in exchange for raisins according to a specified estimate.
