It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits until they have ripened. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) issued this prohibition for both the seller and the buyer (the one who buys and the one who sells). Also, he forbade taking the Noble Qur'an along when going on a journey, because there is a fear that it may fall into the hands of the enemy.
