Hadith 4512

Wabra reports that a man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "If I have donned the ihram for Hajj, can I perform the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah?" He replied: "What is the harm in that?" The man said: "Actually, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) forbids this." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he donned the ihram for Hajj and also performed the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah and performed sa'i between Safa and Marwah."
