Hadith 4511

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَال : " صَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا " ، قَالَ : أَحْسِبُهُ ذَكَرَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
It is narrated, most likely as a marfu’ hadith, from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Perform prayers in your homes as well; do not make them like graveyards.”
