Hadith 4466

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ ، فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you comes for Jumu'ah, he should come after performing ghusl (ritual bath)."
