Hadith 4465

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْقَرْعِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِيهِمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade making nabidh (a drink) in hollowed-out gourds or wood (and drinking it).
