Hadith 4444

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الْبَيِّعَانِ ، فَالْقَوْلُ مَا قَالَ الْبَائِعُ ، وَالْمُبْتَاعُ بِالْخِيَارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "If there is a dispute between the seller and the buyer, then the statement of the seller will be considered, and the buyer will have the choice to buy or not to buy."
