(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " يُفَضِّلُ صَلَاةَ الْجَمِيعِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسَةً وَعِشْرِينَ ضِعْفًا ، كُلُّهَا مِثْلُ صَلَاتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The superiority of prayer in congregation over prayer performed alone is twenty-five degrees, and each degree is equal to his prayer."
