Hadith 4404

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْغَارِ ، فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا ، فَقَرَأْتُهَا قَرِيبًا مِمَّا أَقْرَأَنِي ، غَيْرَ أَنِّي لَسْتُ أَدْرِي بِأَيِّ الْآيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a cave when Surah Mursalat was revealed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and I memorized it as soon as it came from the mouth of the Prophet (peace be upon him). However, I do not remember which verse the Prophet (peace be upon him) ended with «﴿فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ﴾» or «﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لَا يَرْكَعُونَ﴾».
