Hadith 4401

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ، وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَقَالَ : كَيْفَ نَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ : فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ سورة القمر آية 15 : أَذَالٌ أَمْ دَالٌ ؟ فَقَالَ : لَا ، بَلْ دَالٌ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَؤُهَا مُدَّكِرٍ سورة القمر آية 15 دَالًا " .
Abu Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I saw a man asking Aswad bin Yazid—who was teaching people the Qur'an in the mosque—"Do you recite this letter «فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ» with a 'dal' or with a 'dhal'?" He replied: "With a 'dal'. I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this word with a 'dal'."
