Hadith 4394

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قِتَالُ الْمُسْلِمِ أَخَاهُ كُفْرٌ ، وَسِبَابُهُ فُسُوقٌ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abusing a Muslim is wickedness and fighting him is disbelief."
