Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A companion from among the jinn has been appointed with each one of you." The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Even with you?" He replied: "Yes! But Allah has helped me against him, so now he only commands me to speak the truth."
