Hadith 4390

(حديث مرفوع) قَالَ أَبِي : وحَدَّثَنَاه نُوحُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى الرَّضْفِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِأَبِي : حَتَّى يَقُومَ ؟ قَالَ : حَتَّى يَقُومَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sit between the two rak'ahs as if he were sitting on a hot stone. I asked: Until standing up? He replied: Yes!
