(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ . ح وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ : عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهُ لَيْلَةَ الْجِنِّ وَمَعَهُ عَظْمٌ حَائِلٌ وَبَعْرَةٌ وَفَحْمَةٌ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا تَسْتَنْجِيَنَّ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا إِذَا خَرَجْتَ إِلَى الْخَلَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned to them on the night of the jinn, he had with him a bone, black clay, dung, and coal. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you go to the toilet, do not use any of these things for cleaning yourselves."
