Hadith 4359

Abdur Rahman bin Yazid says that on the occasion of Hajj, Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) stoned the Jamrah Aqabah from the bottom of the valley while riding, throwing seven pebbles, and reciting takbeer with each pebble. Someone said to him that people are throwing pebbles from above, so he replied, "By Him besides whom there is no deity, that very Being also stood here upon whom Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed."
