Hadith 4358

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " سَهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ الْكَلَامِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made a mistake in prayer, and after speaking, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two prostrations of forgetfulness.
