(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا فَرْقَدٌ السَّبَخِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَسْرُوقًا يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا ، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْبِسُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَاحْبِسُوا ، وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ فَانْبِذُوا فِيهَا ، وَاجْتَنِبُوا كُلَّ مُسْكِرٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I had previously forbidden you from visiting graveyards, now I permit you, so visit the graveyards. I had forbidden you from keeping the meat of sacrifice with you for more than three days, now you may keep it. And I had forbidden you from using certain types of vessels, now you may use them for preparing nabidh (a drink), but avoid every intoxicating thing."
